This isn't about ALL Movie Stuff this is about MY Movie Stuff, the Stuff I find interesting that I have gathered from various far floung news sources. They all may or may not happen but it's all that I know.
MOVIE - TRUE GRIT
Jeff Bridges is in talks to remake the 1969 original that John Wayne won an Oscar for.
TV - V
Yep, they are re-making the classic mini-series.
MOVIE - HANCOCK Sequel
The rumor mill has it that Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman are up for a HANCOCK 2. Sequel writers have been hired.
MOVIE NEWS - Disney + Marvel
Disney buys Marvel (5,000 superheros) for like 4B.
MOVIE NEWS - Blade (prequel)
A Blade prequel may be in the works.
MOVIE NEWS - Possible new Fantastic Four movie
Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar award winning screenwriter has been chosen to work on the next Fantastic Four movie.
MOVIE - The Hobbit
The lawsuit is settled so filming can begin on The Hobbit. It is rumored to be truned into 2 movies by brining in information from the 3 Lord of the Rings books that reflect back to The Hobbit. It will NOT be filmed in 3D.
MOVIE - A Team
Cast fo far Liam Neeson as Col. John "Hannibal" Smith and Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck.
MOVIE - Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides
Due to open summer 2011. Johnny Depp is in.
MOVIE - Stargate
Amanda Tapping says that filming for a new Stargate SG-1 movie could begin after the season wrap-up for SGU: Stargate Universe. Again, straight to DVD.
MOVIE - Tron Legacy
Jeff Bridges is back...and it takes place in 2010 and it's release date is Dec. 17, 2010.
MOVIE - The Green Hornet
Seth Rogan is the Green Hornet. Release date is June 25, 2010. Kato will be played by Jay Chou. Cameron Diaz, and Edward James Olmos will also star.
MOVIE - John Cater of Mars
This is to become a Disney franchise. It will be interesting because the famous book series by Edgar Rice Burroughs (of Tarzan fame) is very very racy so will be toned down or raved up under Mirimax? William Dafoe will star in it but the main charater will be played by English actor Dominic West (of 300 fame). It could also be partially animated by Disney/Pixar. Let's hope it's NOT like the 70's film Wizards!
MOVIE - National Treasure 3
At D23 (Disney's ComiCon) Nicholas Cage was asked to so National Treasure 3 and he agreed. Good news for all!
MOVIE - Cowboys & Aliens
Robert Downey Jr. is all over the place these days, good news for us, and he's in this one as well.
MOVIE - Sherlock Holmes
Reportedly starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan and Kelly Reilly.
Actor - Ricky Gervais
One of his new movies is The Invention of Lying. Also stars Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Tina Fey, Louis C.K. and Joah Hill. Opens Oct. 2, 2010.
MOVIE - Three Musketeers 3D
Could be interesting. Release date is looking like 2011 and will probably be a period film with a contempary feel.
MOVIE - Predator
Then new Pedator moive could possibly be filmed in Hawaii.
MOVIE - Avatar
The new movie by James Cameron opens Dec. 17, 2010 including an IMAX 3D version. Ought 2 B COOL.
Movie - Excaliber
Bryan Singer is directing the remake (or a remake of a remake of a remake, etc.).
Movie - Matt Helm
Dean Martin made Matt Helm famous as a silly James Bond, campy but cool. Let's hope the remake does Dean Martin justice (or at least his Roasts!).
DVD - Coming to Blu-Ray:
